1I simply have to share my latest baking obsession, flavoured butters and not just any flavoured butter, deliciously sweet carmel butter made with the absolutely divine Unsalted Whitestone Artisan Butter by Al Brown! The wonderful thing about making your own flavoured butter is that not only is it incredibly simple to make and can be flavoured to your taste, but you treat it just as you would normally use butter. I whipped up this delicious batch of caramel butter as part of the filling for my Caramel, Almond and Coffee Sticky Scrolls and since have been dreaming of baking it into caramel cakes or even better, generously spreading it onto warm Banana Bread!

Caramel Butter

100g Unsalted Artisan Butter by Al Brown, room temperature
2-3 tablespoons of caramel – you of course can add as much caramel as you like
In a medium bowl, combine the butter and caramel with an electric beater until pale and creamy. Store in a airtight container or jar in the fridge and treat it the same as normal butter.
