Kiltynane Winery is situated on the most beautiful piece of bay in Victoria - you’ll find it down past Geelong on the peninsula, nestled near a crook in a river with swans flying overhead. I recently spent the day there, capturing the essence of what they do - organic and biodynamic farming of the land, and producing their own fruit, veggies, raw honey and wine. They have chooks and bees, compost heaps and a massive kitchen garden where they source their ingredients for making home made pesto and sauces that are sold at the cellar door. They host grow/gather/cook workshops and lunches, and you can even hold a wedding there. And best of all, they make a cracking pinot noir - which made me one happy girl later that night! Have a peek at their website to read about their story and philosophy, and best of all is that you can order wine directly from their website…
