A delicious cheese board full of a mixture of cheese, nuts, fruit, fresh bread and the odd dip is easily one of my all time favourites ‘meals’. I love that you can add any flavour that you like, - plus creating a meal that requires minimal effort and dishes is always a bonus. Not only are cheeseboards wonderfully easy to make, they really are perfect for any occasion, be it a dinner party, lazy evening with a glass of wine and good friends or a mid week meal where you want to enjoy a mixture of flavours but want a quick dinner that you can serve on a chopping board.

So in celebration of a humble, yet always delicious cheese board, the terribly lovely folk from Mindfood are hosting their annual CheeseFest on Wednesday, March 18, 2015. This is one of my favourite events to attend and is heaven for cheese lovers and foodies alike - as you’re able to sample a selection of the finest cheeses that New Zealand has to offer. Perfect research for then creating your own delicious cheeseboards at home.
