Phew. This week has been a complete mad rush - it’s been a week of new clients, saying goodbye to current clients and general organising of life when there is a lot of travel coming up. I truly can’t believe that it’s almost the end of March, 2016 is going by so quickly. But it’s been the most wonderful start to any year I have ever had - all of the hard work, both personally and with my business is starting to pay off. It’s truly incredible to watch everything start to fall into place after everything being a mess for so long - I honestly never thought that it would happen. I can’t remember the last time I felt this calm, happy and organised. It’s just so nice. So tomorrow I am flying to Sydney for the Easter long weekend to meet my beautiful newborn nephew that my brother and his wife welcomed into our family last week. And then flying up to Rockhampton (my home town) to see spend time with my Grandparents before coming back to New Zealand and then flying to Paris towards the end of April. Getting everything sorted has naturally been a bit of a mad dash, but I really am looking forward to all of the new adventures that this year will bring. I’m scared, nervous, incredible excited and still a little in shock that I have been able to make my dreams come true after so much pain.

So with the long weekend here - I thought I’d share some of my favourite posts on Made From Scratch that will no doubt help with any Easter Celebrations you plant to host this weekend. This table setting by Lauren Kelp has always been a favourite of mine and of course if you are planning on spending a weekend baking, these Chocolate Hazelnut Macarons by the incredibly talented Butter Baking will be perfect to make and share with friends and family this weekend. Whatever your plans are this long weekend, I hope that you have a very happy, safe and relaxing time with your friends and family. Enjoy every precious moment. xo
