It might sound odd, all of my friends know I do this, but I never compare myself to others - I just look on in awe at what they have created and just love that they’re able to do something they love. I have been a fan, a total and complete fan of Natasha from Butter Baking for as long as I can remember and had the absolute pleasure of ‘meeting’ her over Skype the other day. We talked and talked for so long, shared our love of baking, the art of a good creme brûlée and that we would always choose a slice of tart over cake.

A trained pastry chef, Natasha’s work is just so simple, impossibly elegant and of course so delicious that you want to instantly become friends with her so she will invite you over for afternoon tea.
